Experience the World Premiere of The Shadowmaker Live Show at Denver’s Historic Holiday Theatre

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce the world premiere of The Shadowmaker live show, taking place on February 8th at the beautifully restored Holiday Theatre, run by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver. This is a night I’ve been dreaming of for years—a one-of-a-kind event that brings together music, film, and storytelling in a way that feels alive, resonant, and deeply personal.

What is The Shadowmaker?

The Shadowmaker is what we’re calling a “living documentary.” This groundbreaking multimedia performance blends live electronic music, cinematic visuals, and narrative storytelling to explore themes of vulnerability, resilience, and creative freedom. It’s an immersive journey that features every track from my new album performed live, with the incredible Jez Noble on drums, and was co-created with my talented wife, filmmaker Chele Gutek.

A Night to Remember

Set in the stunning surroundings of the Holiday Theatre, which has been thoughtfully renovated by MCA Denver, this show is designed to pull you into its world. From the first note to the final beat, the combination of live performances, archival footage, and visuals will take you on an intense and intimate journey through sound and story.

The evening concludes with a post-show reception, soundtracked by a special Reconstructed Mix. This is where I’ll reimagine and transform album tracks into a more club-friendly, electronic framework—a way to celebrate the music in a whole new light.

Why Denver?

Denver has been such an important city for me throughout my career. From supporting The Crystal Method at the Ogden Theatre back in 1998 to selling out shows with The Fantastic Hosts at legendary venues like Beta, City Hall, and NORAD, Denver has always welcomed me with open arms. Returning now with something so personal and transformative feels incredibly special. Not only that, but it’s where I now live, having moved here a year ago … so this is my first, true hometown show as a Colorado native!
