NEW SINGLE : THE SHADOWMAKER

Announcing … The Shadowmaker!

I’m thrilled to announce the release of my latest single, The Shadowmaker, the first track from my upcoming album set to drop early next year. As many of you know, my music journey has taken me through various phases – from my work as Lunatic Calm, where I made a name with more aggressive, big-beat-driven tracks, to Elite Force, exploring breaks and electronic production. Now, with The Shadowmaker, I’m moving into new territory: an emotive, deeply introspective space, blending melancholy indie with downtempo vocal electronica.

The Evolution of The Shadowmaker

The Shadowmaker is a project that’s been in the works for several years. It began as a much more electronic-focused idea, but as the process unfolded, it evolved into something far more song-based and cinematic than anything I’ve done in a long time. Drawing on influences like Radiohead, Massive Attack, and Nine Inch Nails, this track reflects my love for deep, brooding soundscapes combined with introspective, thought-provoking lyrics.

I’ve always been passionate about exploring the darker sides of emotion through my music, and The Shadowmaker is no exception. There’s a certain vulnerability that comes with moving back towards more traditional song structures – a far cry from the club-ready beats of my Elite Force or Lunatic Calm days – but I’m incredibly proud of how this track has turned out.

Melancholy Indie Meets Downtempo Electronica

For those who enjoy melancholy indie or downtempo vocal music, The Shadowmaker should resonate deeply. Its cinematic soundscapes and introspective lyrics are meant to draw the listener into a world of shadows and self-reflection. This is music for those who love to feel – not just hear – the emotional depth behind every note and word.

The production process was intense. I wrote, recorded, produced, and mastered everything myself, ensuring that each element aligned perfectly with the vision I had in mind. The Shadowmaker may be the first single, but it’s part of a much bigger journey: my upcoming album, which continues in the same vein, blending genres and pushing emotional boundaries.

Join the Journey

As we move towards the full album release early next year, I’ll be sharing more singles that continue this exploration of cinematic, downtempo electronica, and melancholy indie. If you’re a fan of introspective, emotionally driven music, I’d love for you to join me on this journey. You can stream The Shadowmaker now and follow me on platforms like Spotify or Bandcamp to stay updated on future releases - you can download a copy of the single from Bandcamp for free (or buy me a coffee if you see fit - I LOVE coffee!).

The Shadowmaker is just the beginning – the entire album will be available early next year, and there will be other songs appearing over the coming weeks in the run up to the full release.
