Oplot - OUT NOW

The new single Oplot is a compelling piece of cinematic and emotive electronica that’s both melancholy and uplifting, and it’s out across all major platforms today. It follows hot on the heels of last month’s release ‘Traumstaat’ which came out worldwide on Anjunadeep.

The name of a Ukrainian tank, ‘Oplot’ is a collaboration with Canadian outfit Objekt22 who approached me with a track containing several poignant samples from a Ukrainian operatic recording. Instantly drawn to the emotive tone of the samples, I created my own cinematic interpretation of the source material, building the string parts and melodic content from the ground up.

The result is a brooding and deeply evocative piece of broken beat electronica that I’m extremely excited to share with you today.
